I drove up to NYC for a few days this week to visit friends and family. I've been so starved of field drawing in PA that most of the trip was spent doodling. It was rough trying to get back into my groove...*Ballpoint pen

I sort of alternate. I get the sense that people are more interested in wolverine and topless girls on deviant so I put the sketch stuff on my blog as a sanctuary for my fine arts side. It may be silly to compartmentalize like that and things may change.

Formal drawing practice made me what I am. It usually hurts the artist's work
quite a bit if they've neglected their life drawing.
