watch me delete this after two minutes because i hate it so muchi'll just let a few of you know that i did draw today
i did try
i forgot how to draw
seriously tho i need to practise but college starts tomorrow and i'm too stressed
thebadgerfoxdraws i tried drawing them but as you can see, i was right when i said i'd struggle with them
real talk, the quality of my art dropped so hard it broke the sound barrier
and i really do feel awful about it because it's entirely my fault for not practising and not even knowing where i want to go with it
let's just hope i take some time to work on it during inktober

Don't say that, all of us having alot of difficulties making drawing that's why we practice, the key is to practice a day a weeks.. just don't stop making drawings and learning a lot of new things like anatomy etc, reading online and watching videos from YT, just like me I forgot how to play guitar because I'm not playing the guitar anymore and forgot to practice and its very frustating to me. well it's just like playing a games you finish the levels and it's getting harder and harder XD

Don't let the feeling of being lost with your art bring you down!
I understand how life happens and sometimes you can't put in the time you would like to continue practicing your art, but you have some really good qualities in this picture regardless of how rusty you are feeling right now.
It's kind of like you are in an art block, it's a really rough patch to get through and I know how heartbreaking it is to look at your work and feel like this is where you are stuck at and you'll never improve, but in time you will find a way to break through this and you might even find out how to fix what is making you upset in your art right now!
I know you might not have time for these things, but if you can, just try doing some loose doodles, nothing that really needs to be finished in any way and stuff that if you mess up, you can just start a new little doodle and maybe draw the crappy feelings out of your system~
Do the little vent doodles and hopefully you'll find a way out of this funk and into a nice renewed view of your art because I honestly see so much to love in your style and I know you can do amazing work!

i always feel like doodles aren't enough tho? like i wish i kist had the time to sit down, watch a tutorial or something and properly learn
because i feel like drawing smart is better than drawing often in a way
but yeah as long as i don't give up completely it's all good

but like there were a few times when i did something i liked and i never kept it because either other's didn't like it or i didn't know what the fuck i did there so i lost it by the second drawing i did and god that's so depressing

And all those colours I mean I had the luxury of the digital colour pallette (which is basically every colour) and you still managed to recreate it traditionally OVO like whut!? because i feel like my art was acceptable for a 16 year old me but now as the time goes by i feel worse and worse about it looking so...idk cartoonish? i mean i don't mind cartoonish style when done with a purpose but mine looks as if it's done just because i suck and ugh

really it is not that bad - I like it ^V^ I can probably not draw the way I did before either - my ability to draw anything vicious has completely disapeared since I draw so much cartoony but that doesn't mean that one or the other is better - if it wasn't because I did my semi portraits I would probably not practice my realism at all and then I am sure that too would be difficult for me to draw in time - thb I don't draw 'realism' the same way I did before dA: my 'realism' has too become a cartoony version of itself but that's okay - if the definition of becoming worse in drawing is that you cannot draw realistically count me in on that one as well it's what I am trying to say
