Description
As part of my tribute to Matt Smith, I have painted a fresh new take on Clare who is played by Jenna-Louise Coleman from the BBC series Doctor Who. I hope you like it

I'm detailing it a lot and I finally decided to restart the heads, and it was for the best, now they really look perfect !

Once I'll finish all the heads, I'm gonna follow your advice to make an amazing skin ! 
I found out what is so difficult about that painting, and it's the fact that, even if it's a huge area (5000x4000 or something like that), the heads are quite little so it's hard to detail it a lot and make it look realistic.
It probably would be much easier if they took a lot more of space on the painting ahah

The smaller the heads, the less detail is needed. Such as you don't need to worry about the iris detail as much or even give the iris a colour, and skin textures might not be needed as much, if any. When I did the Supernatural paintingΒ Β the faces were quite small to what I usually do and the main focus to detail were the clothes and hands. With this painting I found as long as I got the shading right, the faces will look realistic. My canvas size is always around 3500 X 5000 with a res of 300 if that helps

50% Opacity and flow with the pressure sensitively on
