Description
This is a painting of Ellie from the PlayStation game The Last of Us.Photoshop CS5 and Wacom Bamboo
I have put a link showing some stages of the painting
I wanted to bring Ellie to life and to show you something that isn’t available anywhere. I watched YouTube (I haven’t got the game) and saw the part where she kills the dreadful David and another part where she rescues Joel after he falls onto a huge spike. I saw another side to her. Before all I saw was the cute and innocent aspects to her. But after watching the clips and hearing her swearing, I saw something totally different. She was so courageous, so strong and had so much anger when she started hacking up David. And I think she would have sacrificed herself to save Joel, who I guess she looked up as her father. I cannot believe that it was a game that I was watching and not a Hollywood blockbuster.

Brilliant! You kinda gave her a bit of a Chloe Moretz thing in the face. Then again, she did remind me of both the actress and Ellen Page, so it's no wonder.
I love this painting and yeah, the game could have easily worked as a movie, but it's fine where it is. I love having this game on my shelf. XP

Ellie is really strong, she almost sacrifice her life to safe Joel.
She take care of him like he was her own father. The game is so great, and can help people in rough moment. The Last of Us is really important for me, I feel close to me Ellie, and Joel reminds me my own father (not for his action, Joel sometimes can be really rude, but for his bond with Ellie, he take care of her like she was his "baby girl"). And her eyes, my God her eyes, they look so real. I almost can feel her emotion.
I write a lot... sorry, but this painting brings me really a deep emotion. -and sorry for my bad english, I hope you understand...-
