Description
Following my recent Tutorials of the Eye, Nose, Mouth and Hair. I have put it all together to do a painting of Dr Who's Amy Pond played by the beautiful Karen Gillan. When you click on the steps of the painting, I hope you have more of an idea of how I paint from start to finish. Done with Photoshop CS5 and Wacom Bamboo.

You did a great job. However, if this is Amy Pond, what this lacks is what makes her Amy Pond. The expression doesn't seem to be one she would make. Sure, you don't have to have her classic look of "are you seriously saying/doing that?" which looks a lot like "I smell something gross"....but I think you could find another facial expression that will show that this woman is Amy Pond.

It's so good! Also I was wondering. I'm absolutely useless at digital colouring. I'm trying to colour this picture of mine but I'm really sucking at it. >.> Got any tips????

Try using a soft brush and putting the setting to 50% Opacity, 50% Flow and the pressure sensitivity on for both
