This is a painting I have done for one of my long time watchers.is a big Dr Who fan and an even bigger fan of Clara played by Jenna-Louise Coleman from the BBC series Doctor Who. She is an up and coming artist and I’m sure will be a well known name among DA in the near future. She wanted to be painted alongside her idol Jenna, so this is the finish result. So I have painted her as a young Clara aged thirteen. The story behind this is as follows:-
After being rescued by the Doctor after she sacrifices’ herself to save him, Clare travels back in time to when she was thirteen played by She kneels next to her younger self and whispers to her ‘Sleep tight little Clara and be strong. You were born to save the Doctor’ Then just before she goes back, she kisses her on her head and says ‘…and you will have the greatest time of your life’ little Clara then smiles in her sleep.

Oh my goodness.. Her story is really kind of sad, though most characters are in Doctor Who. Perhaps that's why the show's so captivating? Anyway, brilliant job. The background's brilliant and the detail is amazing. "Run you clever boy, and remember."
