...or, how saccharine can you get, Neko? Well, the answer to that is a lot more than this
I have reserves of syrupy fantasy happiness to choke the most cynical to sweet oblivion!!!
I've been reading a lot of high fantasy lately so I drew this pair on a whim, based on a sentence from a book. But since I'm a sucker for epic stories, I also made up an elaborate setting. Don't know how much of it will survive my fickle attention span but this image became my obsession.

seriously, I wanted a love innocent and magical both literally and metaphorically. I dunno, it seems to me that the feeling of tenderness and sweetness has degenerated a lot in society. We just go ahead and call easiness, sleaziness and laziness love when it is anything but. Emotions and affections are short-lived and superficial, lasting no more than the last drink. Partners come and go faster than a pop song's popularity and mean just as much.
Oh, I know I'm a hopeless romantic amongst thousands of jaded party-goers but I don't mind it. I don't plan on changing either.

This is so, so beautiful. I love the colors you used here, you've painted them very beautifully and I like the movement in their hairs. I also like the way you've drawn their faces. A very enchanting work, I think.

Love the background on this. The lighting is really great too. Just two small suggestions though? Hand size and eyes.
The male's hand is a bit small, and his eyes are sorta vacant, like he's not really looking at the girl. Aside from that, this is really great.

ah, yeah, I did his eyes and I realized he was staring a little upwards. "oh, darling, you got a spot on your forehead"
but his hands? hmm, figures. Only guys need improvement, women are perfect beings!

Hands are pretty tough. I struggle with them a lot, and usually make them a little big, a little small, but never quite right. Especially on men. Odd... XD
