I especially like the way you highlighted the creature's skin and the transparency of its wings. I also like the colour blending on the ground where the creature is sitting, and the sky too.

Yeah, I feel the same about fanart sometimes. Unless it's just for the lolz I prefer all the characters to be... well, in character.

I really like the oriental-feeling here, the dragon and the coloring somehow makes me think of the Chinese New Year (and the writing as well of course). I personally like the girl here very much, her hair is so beautifully painted. The shining tower on the bg is also somehow very enchanting. I like the pink glow effect.
