Anton Veeblefitzer, inspired by the Luft '46 website, and with a gun held to his head, came up with this contribution to that awful "lost cause" "thing" of-a-nation there, in central Europe, during the last century, and you know what I mean.
Anyway..., it was a tiny, all wood constructed, solid fuel rocket propelled interceptor, designed to shoot down invading multi-engine enemy bombers.
Dropped from a carrier aircraft (A), the pilot ignited the rocket motor (B), and sped off to attack the enemy and launch his three rocket/mortars bombs (C) with the intent of knocking down an enemy aircraft.
To escape a certain death, (Hah!) the pilot then ignited explosive bolts, which separated the aft section of the craft, and the pilot fell free (D) and settled to Earth, to pilot a new craft...yeah, sure.
Anyway, this thing never left the drawing board, as the leader of this pathetic empire shot himself, and everything went to hell-in-a-hand basket, anyway, and the designer spent more time in an opium den and couldn't think straight after all that, and so much for revisionist, parallel universe history, and you should go read a book, or something.
