PAV saw the potential of the FW-200 being developed into an eight engine' flying wing design.
After showing his blue prints to Dr. Tank, and his team, they immediately agreed to try the new "flying wing" concept, and it proved to be an enormous success.
The white aircraft is an early civilian production version, purchased by Japan, and used for trans-polar flights between Japan and Germany, etc.
The Luftwaffe militarized version shown here, is escorting the Japanese guest along the coast of Norway, in order to ensure that enemy aircraft do not disturb the mission.
