Continuing his tradition of
going-off "The-Deep-End",
Professor Anton Veeblefitzer
finding himself, somehow, on
Guadalcanal during November
of 1942, took advantage of the
resources available, wrecks of
Grumman F4F Wildcat USMC
fighters, plus a nose section of
a Curtiss P-40B Warhawk USAAC
fighter, and blended them together
to invent a one-of-a-kind fighter:
the War-Wild-Hawk-Cat!
This unique singularity flew only
one mission and successfully shot
down 5 enemy bombers.
The next day, however, while taxiing
out for mission no.2 it hit a bump, and
the engine fell off!
Not one of PAV's best experiments.
