Description
A DA friend challenged me to do a veeb for the 21st Century, as opposed to the veebs
belonging to the 20th Century.

Pictured is the Veeblefitzer Ve-1a "Imaginary" Land-Atmosphere-Space-Capable (LASC)
test craft, designed in 2023 by a very age-infected Professor Anton Veeblefitzer, who
has this to say: "You can bury me a thousand-miles-deep!!! And I'll STILL keep designing!".
The craft has a classic wing-thing Veeblefitzer profile with a central fuselage-pod holding a
pressurized cockpit. The pilot, however, still sported a pressure suit with a cool-looking helmet.
The twin engines are unique fission atomic hyper-drives that are composed of (XXXXcensoredXXXX)
and are capable of easily placing this craft into orbit.
Professor Anton Veeblefitzer piloted the prototype from Veebletown, based in Nevada (A town resembling
the Los Alamos village established for J. Oppenhowever, and crew, to develop the "Bomb" [in this odd alt' universe].).
PAV and his team of genetically enhanced clones chose to, instead, devote their creativity to improving
the quality of life, for the American people, and the extended world-wide human family!
The "Imaginary" machine is constructed with super-tough Carbon-based materials which can easily withstand
the temperature-extreme conditions of hypersonic ascent and descent to and from orbit.
The craft was painted with Extreme-Heat-Resistant-Carbon-Paint(EHRCP) that would glow bright red, as it sped through
the atmosphere. As long as the cockpit cooling system worked, the pilot had nothing to worry about (!!!?).
This prototype "Imaginary" machine, with Prof. A. Veeblefitzer, at the controls, orbited the Earth twelve times, until PAV's
bladder insisted that he land, to take-a-leak (PAV neglected to add a relief device).
