Description
Influenced ever so slightly by the track 'Colony of Birchmen' by Mastodon. Thought I'd provide my own take on the subjects of this totally awesome song.

There's a few bits I'm still not pleased with, such as the 'roots' at the base of the tree, and the shading of the lesser branches, but generally I'm pretty chuffed that I can still draw after a 4 month dry patch.

Much love goes out to the 4H and B pencils that I found at the back of my sofa for letting this one happen.
