Firstly, I must say "Wow."
System Shock is one of my favorite games of all time. This picture seems to capture the feel of the game.
Shodan is definitely one of the scarier evil AIs out there, but I can think of one that's even worse. If you are a fan of Harlan Ellison's short stories, maybe you heard of Am. Am is just as evil as Shodan, but with one key difference. While Shodan believes that she is a god, Am essentially is a god. I feel that it's only right of me to share this with you. [link]

This game was made by Sci-fi fans, for Sci-fi fans. While System Shock 2 was really awesome, System Shock 1 will always be the best most complicated and immersive survival horror games ever made.
btw, SCREW YOU BIOSHOCK FOR DESTROYING SYSTEM SHOCK 3! I always wondered what was going to happen next after System Shock 2's ending, the 3rd game was planned to take place on Earth and everything.
