That's exactly the style of writer I am.
I show the villains being just absolutely ruthless and diabolical. But later on, near the climax, the heroes pay them back in spades, showing their wrath for all their horror they've brought onto the world.
Now THAT is how a climax is supposed to be done.

As predictable as the villains ending up dead or in prison is, There are some villains that i can't stand and would be happy to see die. Eggman is a good example of this
I don't like the psychopath mad scientist villains who do little besides brag about themselves everytime they open their mouths.
This is why i hate Eggman with a passion now, since issue 225, every time Eggman opens his mouth, it's just been arrogance coming out of his face

Thing is the majority of people were in favour of Fiona getting beaten around by the heroes in that issues.
People were saying that the gut-punch moment made their day and made them laugh out loud and openly saying that they agreed with Sonic and Tails celebration of it at the end. Gutless cowards!

I know what you mean. I actually admit when I first saw, I liked it myself. Probably because I got a chuckle out of Sally's line about too much testosterone.
It wasn't until I saw it in another light that I realized, Hey, that was downright cruel...
Worse yet, when confronted about it, Ian of course gave a PC bullcrap answer about how he's not in favor of females hitting each other.
Then why did he show Sally doing that then and the guys getting all excited after it was over? That seriously makes me question how much respect he has for women in general.
This should have been a scene where Sally should have deeply pitied Fiona as an individual, not actually say to her face she was dead to them.
Ugh, I can see why you hated that scene so much. It's making me disgusted just thinking about it.

Just what hurts me is the fact that most people enjoyed what happened to Fiona in that issue, and nearly everyone was crowing about it

People in general unfortunately are sick I hate to say.
It's one reason why you see so many graphic and violent fanfics. They can say all they want they're fictional characters and it doesn't matter, but how they portray them just shows how much respect and human decency they have in them as human beings.
It's for that reason why I show class when writing about a cast because I believe characters should be role models, not acting like heartless punks as Flynn does for kicks.

What also annoys me is how everyone was showing sympathy for Scourge - A HEARTLESS, ARROGANT ASSHOLE - when he was locked up and getting beat by the other prisoners, he's an idiot and he had it coming

Ironic how the stereotype is that america says Britain as polite and posh, yet a lot of supervillains have english accents (Loki, Jafar, Bane etc.)
