Isn't it fun retouching old pictures? This is a redo of sorts of one of the pics in my gallery, entitled "Luc". It's a picture of Luc in his Suikoden II clothes. You can find it here to compare: [link]

As you can see, I've improved a lot in what amounts to about four months (since I took a seven month break). The reason I decided to redo the coloring on the original is because there were always a few things that bugged me about it...mainly his hair. Since I have a new technique, and at the time I had a much more limited experience using photoshop (it was my fifth photoshop), I figured I'd redo the hair. What happened was, in order for the hair to fit in with the rest of the pic, I pretty much had to reshade everything. Amazingly, the clothing didn't need to much retouching (though it was rough in a few areas). Another thing I realized was wrong was the color of Luc's eyes--they're supposed to be green, but in the original, I colored them brown for some odd reason.

Well, that's about all I can say about this. I haven't submitted anything in two weeks, so I figured I'd take a day to do this. I'm in a bit of a slump now...I know what I WANT to draw, but I can't find to the motivation to actually draw it.
