Description Another OLD pic, done in prismas. I submitted this to a competition once...needless to say, I failed miserably. Takeshi Kaneshiro and a doll. Whee.

Very nice! That doll was annoying. I swear it was like it was invincible. You did great with the coloring.

Yes...Shirokiya is one of those...rich people stores. Well, I guess it's also expensive because everything there is Japanese, too. You should check it out if you're ever in Hawaii, it's at the Ala Moana mall...richie mall...ugh.

LOL setting foot in Hawaii itself already costs me a bomb, and if you, who resides in Hawaii thinks that store is a richie mall, I don't think I can even have the luxury of going near it

Well, I buy things at that store, so you'll be OK. I'm not exactly rich, ha ha. Besides, there are ways to get a cheap vacation...but I can't really think of any right now. Shucks

Haha its okay.... If my parents were to bring me along for vacation I'm an extra luggage because my idea of a vacation is stay in the hotel and sleep all day XD ...until I get into the travelling mood that is =x

Of course, I'm a good tour guide. Just make sure you go when I'm living there again.

Remember, I don't live there currently...and unfortunately. I will move back after college, most likely though.

JimmyHapa In reply to kazu-chu [2005-08-12 04:08:48 +0000 UTC]

Sort of...I moved here a few years ago, and am currently attending college here. The reason my parents moved me here was for education...but I dunno. I don't feel very educated! ^_^

Woah..... I wouldn't go to another country to study. My mum did try persuading me to go to Australia for final year (or some other country) but eep..... I don't like being away from home..... >_<

I know how you feel. Although Hawaii is part of the United States, it might as well be another country. Trust me--I didn't leave by choice!

The biggest type of persuasion...they moved here when I was in high school, so I pretty much had to go. There was a small possibility I could stay with my grandma in Hawaii, but I didn't explore that option. If you have to study abroad, hope you get to go somewhere nice. If it's in the US, I'll visit you, ha ha. But I'll keep my fingers crossed that you stay where you are, if you're happy there ^_^

LOL US is an option....but I'll leave it for later. I think I can be happy wherever I go, as long as I don't need to worry about food, and have water heater and cool temperature all the time Thanks~~~ Half of me thinks going overseas for studies might be fun, but the other half is a chicken.

Where else would you like to study abroad? Japan? Canada? Luxembourg?!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

kazu-chu In reply to JimmyHapa [2005-08-17 00:39:43 +0000 UTC]

Whee~~ Japan sounds good, but I'm not loking forward to the trains >.< Canada doesn't seem like a bad choice either because I heard its cold there Furthermore I heard there's a university there with a lake in front of it~ X3 I'm a sucker for places with water XD

However I do think my parents are planning to ship me off to Australia. Aunt is there, so I guess they feel more secured or something.

JimmyHapa In reply to kazu-chu [2005-08-17 02:21:57 +0000 UTC]

I've never been in those kind of trains before, so to me it would be interesting. If I study abroad, it'll probably be in Japan. If not, there's Korea or China...heck, I'd like to go to Singapore too. So cold is good for you? Heh heh, not really for me...never got used to cold weather. I get cold in Hawaii, believe it or not.

If you go to Australia, take some pictures...mate.

LOL Singapore seems good, then I can drop by during the hols or something. It's only about 7 hours drive/bus. And I really love it there. It pisses me that wherever I walked there's a whole lot of people, and the train station are jam packed, but there's this departmental store which has the best takoyaki ever, and Kinokuniya is in there too. It's a really great japanese book store, lots of books, from the normal books to mangas, and compared to the Kinokuniya here, the one there has really lots of art books and mangas X3 Its rare to see Suikoden related books here, but I saw a whole lot of them at Singapore, mostly are guidebooks, but the visuals are like aahhhh.......

Sure thing about the pictures, that is if I'm going. I have to pass this semester with not-too-bad results before I can go on ahead XD

kazu-chu In reply to JimmyHapa [2005-08-18 15:03:30 +0000 UTC]

Same to you too and thanks. Singapore is okay I guess, as long as you don't mind places packed with people. That departmental store is nice, but it's dreadful at the food court during lunch time. Forget about getting a seat >.< I had to actually buy the takoyakis and find a seat near a fountain to eat. Sometimes there aren't places to sit at the fountain either o_o;;;

Oh yeah...that's the sucky part >.< But I can't really stand places where there's a lot people and they're like...minding their own business and looking so cold. If that's how its going to be I rather to be in places with less people XD

Huuu.. o_O reminds me of this really beautiful japanese doll I saw at a store. I was very tempted to buy it, but it looks creepy (I think all of them does o_O) If it looks creepy during the day time, goodness knows how I'm going to survive the night with it in my room Hehe this pic is funny

Yeah, I really want a Japanese doll, but A.) They're so creepy sometimes and B.) SOOOOOO EXPENSIVE!!!! I saw one at Shirokiya in Hawaii this summer for 500 bucks...I told myself I'd get it when I'm established in the world...whenever that happens.
