This entity - only known as 'Kind Faces' - is an extremely malevolent and dangerous being that manifests itself around people who are suffering from severe depression or who are going through periods of grief, mourning or mental anguish.
Usually it appears to only one person in a household - who will remain the only person who can witness the entity - and it presents itself as a guardian angel of some sort, a benevolent being that makes lofty promises of making the chosen person feel happy once again and taking away their problems.

However, 'Kind Faces' has all but good intentions. If the victim agrees to take its offer, the entity will proceed to feed on their very emotions. First it will begin taking away the negative emotions of a victim - sadness, anger, guilt - to keep up appearance, however, after a few weeks, the good emotions will disappear as well. Joy, happiness, love, pride. Hope. After a month or so, the victim is left as an emotionless husk and the entity will return to the shadows, sated.

It should go without saying that it's difficult to fight this entity, as to bystanders it'll just appear the stoic behaviour of the victim might be a result of their depression, or even a side effect of medication. However, when it's known one is being haunted by 'Kind Faces', family members can try and combat the entity by trying to severe the bond between the victim and the being. The most successful way of doing so known to date is having the entity manifest itself using a spiritual medium, then holding a mirror in front of it, which will force the creature to bond to itself and devour its very own emotions, leaving it weakened enough to be exorcised by a priest.
Other ways that are known to work, but are far more dangerous, is to figure out where on the victim's body the entity has latched on - which can be seen by very faint bite marks, however there are reports that not every victim of 'Kind Faces' has these marks on their body - and amputate the body part. However, this becomes difficult if not impossible if the marks are to be found on the neck or spinal region, for example.

Contact with 'Kind Faces' should be avoided at all costs. If it manifests in your home, ignore the offers and gifts it tries to present to you - no matter how wonderful its promises sound - and pray it leaves on its own accord. Hopefully the entity will lose interest, as it prefers an easy prey.
