I was looking at new deviations in my watch list, and I saw *vashperado 's newest picture [link] and I read the description and read:'This reminds me how as a child
even a cardboard box can transport you to other worlds

That's when this popped into my head. If you find it funny or not, it doesn't matter, it made me laugh.

By the way, the shirt on the right says 'Just Call Me Fruit Cup.' It's an inside joke with a couple of my friends, and also an actual shirt I have to make... some time...

lol I donno, I don't think it would be as fun today as it was back then. We know so much at this age and are therefor rather critical of what we think "realistic fantasy" really is, but back then, we couldn't think logically, and as long as we were having fun, we didn't care if the Ninja Turtles action figures couldn't exist in the LEGO world, if we wanted them there, they were there.
See? That response is a prime example of why knowledge with age sucks lol. Another example is a couple of my friends are whining and complaining about the reasons why Death Knights leave the Lich King's services and join their race's factions in the new expansion pack for World of Warcraft because "Death Knights are supposed to be absolutely obedient of the Lich King, they aren't supposed to have a will of their own QQ T_T boo hooo"

WoW is more than what Neopets is... it's an online game, but at the same time, a completely different world. It's a lot of fun.
