Soooo, I took a brief hiatus due to illness
and I returned to drawing with the vague idea of SIMPLIFYING my style, as in, more cartoony and less realistic. And then I did THIS. Uhh...yeah...totally less detailed, Lex. Good one.Imma call it a 'chapter break'...or a 'cover'...and maybe do one before every chapter. My mom keeps calling it a 'flash page'. I think she means 'splash page', which is something else entirely. But she's so damn cute!
In hindsight, I guess this whole comic should've been horizontal...being on the web and such. Sorry for making you scroll. >_<

Oh my gosh, what a return with a VENGEANCE. Your painterly style is amazing, I can't imagine being able to do that digitally. What are you using here, Painter or Photoshop...? IT'S MAGNIFICENT.

No offense meant, but I think I liked the older style that you were using before better than this one. That one actually looked more "cartoonish" than this to me.
I love the idea of the artwork "title page" before the beginning of each chapter.
