Description My first tutorial in UF. It's a small beginners guide. It shows a way to get started doing fractals very quick. There's no big strange explanations about the features in UF. But it gives you some easy tools for exploring on your own. I've included some small screenshots with red markings around some things so you'll find them easy. Hope it's gonna work. Just note me if you got any questions.

--- UPDATE ---
The rendering tip in the tutorial gives good images. But the main technique used by me is to render very huge. My latest images are rendered without anti-aliasing and 15360 pix on the longest side. Then I shacle them down in Photoshop by 4 to 3840 pix on the longest side. This way you preserve details and the anti-aliasing can sometimes blur.

Glad you like it! It's a very basic tutorial. Just to give people a little kick in the right direction in the beginning.

Thanks for doing that for folks, Jimmie! I've helped others learn how to use it too, but have never gone so far as to write a tutorial. I'm sure it'll help a lot of people!

I think if people get started fast with doing fractals in UF the won't give up on it to easy.

for sure I was so depressed when I first opened UF, I couldn't figure out how to make something different than ugly mandelbrot zooms so god bless tutorials !

Great tutorial... if I hadn't experimented on my own with UF5, I'd refer back to this so much. Thank you, my friend! <3

And thank you again for testing it. It showed me that you could get through it and create something out of it.
