The trees flood this picture and make it great. They add to the old, abandoned, spooky feel since they are dead. However, I think you could've cropped this a bit more, cutting out some of the water and trees. This would add more focus to the cabin, even though the yellow does bring a lot of focus to it.

Looks like a very mysterious and creepy place to be and you have captured the feeling quite well. Although because of the large amount of midtones it looks quite busy, but the bright yellow cabin does draw your eyes to the centre which helps. Also the cabin isn't quite centred which gives the shot an uneven composition balance. If you are going to place dominant items near the centre, then they should be dead centred and not slightly off as not to be awkward. None the less i like the drained colours of the trees against the bright cabin and red colours, good job.

Great shot. Only critism is the cabin being so centered. It takes away from the whole scene. Compositionally it is not the best to put the focus right in the middle.

I had a hard time deciding where I wanted the cabin in this shot. The reason I centered it was to show how empty it was all around it... nothing to be seen in any direction.
The more I look at it though I think you are correct it would be better to have it more off to the side.

Very nice picture. I love the reflection. I must disagree with Eddy, at first I thought that too but the colour of the house definatly makes it the focal point. I think it would also look cool at the very right side of the photo.

mm my first impression is that its tooo busy. the subject which im guessing the house is should be a lil more centered..
