At first I wasn't going to complete this picture, because I had more or less a winter scene in mind and thought I wouldn't get it finished in time, but.. today kind of convinced me to finish it.
It snowed here today, which is extremely rare. We never get snow- especially not close to 2 inches (which is a lot for us! 8D), so it has been a really exciting day for me. I took some pictures out in the snow to remember it. It was too beautiful not to. XD
Anyways, this pic was kind of inspired by today. I drew it several months ago, and had been slowly working on it off and on, but I had to stop because my laptop kept shorting out on me. Well, I have a new laptop now, so I finally got around to completing it... too bad I couldn't exactly remember how I had been shading/highlighting it, so it might look kind of weird in certain places. I don't have any brushes on Photoshop yet, so everything had to be drawn by me.. so sorry if it looks a bit messy or sloppy.
So, Sonic, Shadow and Silver have been out playing in the snow, and now that the snow has slowly started to melt, they decide to call it a day. But, Silver's not finished yet, which is why Sonic and Shadow have a pile of snow squished on their heads... lol.

We got hit by the same storm system that hit you last night. We got a little snow but it was gone by this afternoon

It's been years since we had a decent amount of snow, so you can probably imagine how confused I was when I woke up yesterday to see white rooftops and trees! Then I started running around the house, waking everyone up by shouting that it was snowing.. lol! Overall, it was a pretty fun day. I just wished it could have lasted a bit longer.. and been on a day when I didn't have to go back to the university.

This reminds me of this afternoon when th snow melted. It only was there for about 5 hours, which was sad cuz it was pretty... now it's all rainy =/
