I love that song so much, but I don't know which version I like the best...

*Slaps Sonic* He looks so bad!!

But, this is one of very few pictures of mine I can actually call sort of a project. One night, I was just inspired to draw a pic to commemorate the Sonic Next-Gen game... and the sad part is that I don't even own the game... oh well...

This picture took me about a week to complete. All of the characters were drawn in one night, with the exception of Mephiles (which is why he looks different). And then, I tried my best to lineart and color about 2 or 3 charas a day. That was fun, but also a pain, since I'm not a very patient person.
The whole reason behind Mephiles was simply because my sis, , asked me to include him.. Well, she didn't really ask, but she pestered me into it, so I finally agreed. He came out bad, but that's prob my first and last time ever drawing him..

I think this was my second picture to airbrush, so I know there are several mistakes, and am fully aware of this. But the only way to improve is to practice, and I got a lot of it on this pic. Sonic was the first character I airbrushed, so he looks kind of bad, but I wanted to get him out of the way, since he was the largest, and the focal point of the pic. I might have made a bad decision there.

So, the spacing of the characters are really random. I tried to put characters that interact with each other together as best I could.. And, I hate how Rouge and Shadow are always stuck together, so I stuck them on separate ends. I'm evil. ^__^ And, I omitted Omega, 'cause to put bluntly, I can't draw him at all.

I needed a rather large background to put all of the characters on, so my sis convinced me to make it into a wallpaper. However, I'd rather think of it as a pic with the same dimensions of a wallpaper, not as a wallpaper in general. ^^

Um... so yeah... I think that sums it all up.
