Description
this is oil on linen, 11x14. This might actually look better in the photograph than real life for some reason. Painted for the annual auction to help the elephant sanctuary that is located in the foothills near here. I changed up the background a bit.Related content

I never have visited them but riding one would be interesting. I just donate something each year for an auction to help in their upkeep.

I have to get Jane to pose on the orange couch! She has problems sitting still where I want her to. That elephant is from a photograph some friends of mine took while on Safari. They said he was really cool. Thanks...

I never have the camera handy when she is on the orange couch. I will one day... I need a model on the couch one day too. It is a cool old fashioned looking couch that is waiting for me to paint it.
