For some reason this really reminds me of the transformation scene in Splice when Dren manifests her wings for the first time. I could imagine this being what she would of looked like had she taken flight rather than returing to her "parents". Beautiful stuff!

I thought it had the same(ish) look as the cover to Hush, Hush (which was a pretty crappy book in my opinion, even though I loved the fallen angel character, Patch).
