true, but he has also lost his fair share of times, seven times as they said, one of those times being against king kong (and im STILL calling bs on that one). im not dissing the big guy, but if he can be beat by a ( Β filthy ape) then i think he can be bested by an immortal, water-like, god whose power (even in his zero form) is said to be immeasurable, and he has the power of the seven chaos emeralds in this form to boot... i think adding the master emerald would be overkill.

Hopefully the reboot will be more decisive than the old film. Chaos could be
a challenge, but if a hedgehog can beat him (both in superΒ form and regular
form), then Godzilla has a very good chance to beatΒ him easily. Not to mention
that Chaos' weak spot is exposed on top of his head inΒ his Perfect Chaos form.

his weakness is practically a giant zit screamming "hit me", but i wouldnt be to sure about easy. especially with moves like chaos impact which causes earthquakes, chaos strike which does damage and confuses an enemy and chaos bind which freezes an opponent for 30 maybe 40 seconds... and thats not counting the maneuverability it has as a being made of "water", the home field advantage he'll have in the water, and its ability to project shields and other crap i cant remember at the moment on top of being immortal. big-g may get a few hits in (at least the weakness striking ones anyway) but im afraid this death battle will have him "drowning in defeat"... eh, eh

Godzilla is a creature of the sea, so it's just as much of an
advantageΒ for him, as it is for Chaos. Drowning Godzilla,Β would
be like throwing a lava monster into a volcano and hoping it dies.
Chaos, as I said before, can put up a good fight, but when it comes
down to it, Chaos has a weak spot sitting on top of his head
and all Godzilla has to do is hit that spot with the strongest Atomic
Breath he's got, and that would be it.

Yeah that weak spot is a bit of an issue, but Chaos can just as easily block the oncoming atomic breath with an energy barrier or counter it with an energy blast of his own. Also, lets say he does get hit in the head, and with Godzilla's strongest atomic breath, Chaos is an immortal whose body is made of water-like chaos energy and is powerful enough to be revered as a god of destruction, u can knock him down, tear him apart, blast his head clean off, he'll just get back up again. Also, if he can take those kinds of hits multiple times, and from a more powerful character and still come back, he'll be fighting Godzilla for a while. Now, before u say Sonic isnt that powerful, I'm refering to his super form: which not only makes Sonic invulnerable, but gives him the power to destroy planets and complete control of reality(space-time). Though Perfect Chaos is far from invulnerable, he still reaps the other two benefits since that same Chaos Energy (though negative in nature) is coursing through his body. Finally going back to the whole water home-field advantage thing:
who has more of an advantage; amphibian royalty who can take nukes and destroy cities(Godzilla), or a liquid-bodied god with world-destroying power and complete control over said water and pretty much reality(Chaos)?

My money is on Godzilla. I know that Perfect Chaos is very tough and that he is very, very hard to destroy, BUT, we are talking about Godzilla here, who has gotten out of some of the most impossible situations and lived to fight on. Heck, he took on all earth's monsters in Godzilla: Final Wars, and still won.

Actually that's incorrect. Godzilla is an aquatic kaiju and even then, the only known thing that can kill Godzilla is an Oxygen destroyer, and I'm preeetty sure Chaos doesn't have one.

Godzilla is powerful no doubt, but he has been beaten his fair share of times even without the oxygen bomb (king Kong being one of those times and i still call bs on that). Plus chaos has energy based shields and attacks of his own he can use, like chaos strike to injure and daze a target, chaos impact to cause small quakes and chaos bind to freeze time for 30-40 seconds. Chaos also has his own "f**k u" laser and with the power of the seven emeralds at his disposal he's capable of wiping out an entire planet. Since chaos is immortal, Godzilla can knock chaos down all he wants but chaos will get back up again. Godzilla may be the king of the monsters, but chaos is (i $hit u not) the god of destruction.
