Hi! The trick is to draw it in layers. I don't seem to get a lot of glare when I do it this way but it takes a long time. I used a 4B pencil. I can tell you that after I put it through Photoshop for proper lighting, it tends to make it a little darker than the original. Thank you for asking. Cheers! BTW, Thanks so much for the fave!

Is there something I didn't explain clearly? I'm more than willing to answer any questions you might have. Thanks for your comment.

I think you did explain that very well, it is just a completely different technique than I use in traditional drawings. But doing it in layers really makes sense to me and it really looks great, so I will try that too!^^
PS.: do you know that, when you learn something new, and you got to think about it, because otherways you will just continue the same as usual without having any change?

I understand exactly what you're saying. I'm struggling with that myself on developing a new technique for skin texture. Thanks!

Thank you! I'm afraid this tutorial is only good for white hair people. I use a completely different approach on dark hair. Maybe I should put together another tutorial for dark hair. In the meantime, I hope this tutorial helps. I like you gallery - some really nice stuff in it. Thanks for the fave!

It'll be a while as I need to do a drawing of someone with dark hair and then take pictures of it as I draw it. Thanks again.

Thank you. I only made this one because I got several inquiries on how I did it. Perhaps down the road I'll have to make more. Thanks again!
