Description
Sleeping quarters of a space cruiser. This is aboard a huge cruiser travelling between stars in normal space, below light speed (for the sake of realism), so a journey from one star to another takes years. It might get a bit tedious at times.Related content

Unfortunately traveling through space below light speed from one solar system to another is not feasible. The next one from here is about 6 lightyears away. Our galaxy is about 100.000 lightyears long. Even if you don't age that would be so ineffective that civilizations would start to develop independent not knowing each other.

Tämä on upean tunnelmallinen teos. Sinänsä tämäntyylisiä kuviahan näkee paljonkin konseptitaiteilijoilta, mutta tämä eroaa kyllä edukseen nimenomaan tunnelmansa takia. Tuo heijastuva punainen väri näyttää hyvältä, ja valaistus on kuvassa muutenkin kohdillaan.

Tunnelmaa koetan aina saada kuvaan.. jos sitä tehdessä ei tunnu siltä että siihen on tulossa jotain atmosfääriä niin silloin ei yleensä jaksa työstää sitä loppuunkaan. Monta työtä on jäänyt kesken siksi.

I like this more calm and humanistic approach to science fiction you've taken. The focus isn't really on the ship or the stars directly, but the relationship between humanity and space.

Thanks. That's what interests me most. The small things are much more interesting to figure out than grand space stations or whatever. In games I appreciate if the interiors look as if people could really have lived and tried to make their lives comfortable there.

We certainly more often run into cold corridors and industrial plating than comfortable living quarters when we see the interiors of spacecraft in science fiction.
