I honestly adore this piece , I can't stop myself from coming back for another look. It gives me a feeling of being in a really old creepy house. The message is such a sad truth as well. Thanks for posting !

I want to describe it as haunting but your soft technique lessens the severity of that feeling, turning it into something else altogether that I can't quite put into words. I like i t though.

i'm glad it hit you that way, sometimes things are beyond the constraints of language. its interesting that you responded to the formal qualities of the painting, not many are visually aware of how much the way something is painted effects the experience of an artwork, beyond the content of the imagery.
