It's the beginning of December 2012 and things are starting to take a turn for the worse. As the planets align it begins to have a strange effect on our sun and no one is quite sure what to expect next.Related content

Beautiful, but you can't see the stars that close to the sun when you look at it.

You can in space art... You also can't see most nebulae in the visible light spectrum. If everyone went for total realism it would get boring pretty fast, no?

It still a very beautiful work, it's just what I noticed with first look

I'm pretty new to all this still so I'm teaching myself the do's and dont's of it. Thanks for your comment tho. I agree that most space art wouldn't look all that great if you just went with complete realism. With any art, you should always use the imagination.
