Did you use any special Tutorial to do the fire or did you just play around? It looks great.

just try different things with photoshop man. Add like a texture and go through the whole layer effects and stuff. Or but your painting through a filter and knock it back to like 25% opacity over the untouched painting. You can get all types of awesome stuff. UTILIZE what photoshop has to offer other than just coloring it.
