Sexual harassment is soooo charming.

A lot of people didn't really recognize it back in the Seventies, but refusing to take "No" for an answer IS sexual harassment. I'm rather touchy about the issue because I always hated it when guys continued to bug me after I (politely!) turned them down. Fortunately I never had to deal with anyone who was as big a jerk as James Potter.

If this is true I was sexually harassed once o.O

It was realy hard for Harry to see that his father was a lot less of a hero than a jerk when he was young. Lupin said that James changed though. He gave his life to defend Lily and Harry after all... Well, so did Severus, in a more painfull way...

Anyway, if I was Lily, I would have gone for neigher James nor Severus. Being a Death Eater is an absolute turnoff for me... I think I would have forgiven Severus for the "Mudblood" at some point, but it would not have made it to a relationship.

True, Lupin said James changed. He also said Severus was jealous of James's Quidditch talent. Lupin is not a reliable source. In some ways Sirius is better; he's every bit as biased, but he doesn't bother to hide it.

Severus wasn't a Death Eater at the time Lily dumped him. And she never gave him a chance to say whether he'd be willing to dump all his Slytherin friends for her sake. (Though how he was going to managed that I don't know. Hang out in the library and sleep in a greenhouse? Inside Slytherin House was the only place he was safe from the Marauders.)

I would never want my boyfriend to dump all his friends for me. :/ I am not sure, if Severus had friends, but I didn't read in a while. Last time I didn't concentrate on that issue and it grows more relavant to me now. So rereading will be my holliday project
