Description
My mind is an interesting place and when it lets my imagination run wild anything can happen. But, I have one special place above all others that I go to when I want some tranquility, and I call this place Marcopolis. In Marcopolis I have no worries, but many adventures. Adventures where anything can happen. There are dinosaurs roaming free and alien spacecraft is a common sight. Cities are made of gold and use methods for energy that don't pollute the beautiful sky that is full of colors. With no pollution in the atmosphere you can see far our into space so well that the planets in the same solar system as Marcopolis are usually seen clearly with the naked eye.
Marcopolis is my imagination's way of giving me a coping mechanism when the world gets to frustrating. This is the tranquil and safe place I go when I want to be creative.
Thank you for sharing Marcopolis with me.

Yer welcome! And yea, multiple light sources would be a pain. I have a hard enough time with one!!

I hate multiple light sources and drawing mirrors. You almost have to use mathematical calculations to get images in mirrors realistically correct. They both can be done but it's soooo time consuming. Lol, maybe I'm just a bit lazy

True that. M.C.Escher was the best for reflections. Check this out [link] It amazes me how good this guy was!
LOL, I'm kinda lazy too

M.C.Escher was by far one of the best illustrators ever. He did some mind boggling art that goes beyond awesome. Thanks for the link

Thank you very much. I'm trying to add more texture and detail to my illustrations, so it's nice to know I'm on the right path

Nice illustration. I think it would be better with thiner lineart, and maybe you should play more with the size of strokes (for exemple, the city doesn't look quite far, it would have been better if the stroke of the city would be thiner, to bring more depth). But this is just my opinion ^^ I see you did it quite well for the first plan, good job anyway!

Thanks
I'm still learning and experimenting with inking my work. I'll try making the far background objects have thinner lines. Thanks for the critique
