Description
Another commission for a friend, this time a bit less silly. Anyone that played Dark Souls should remember this sonofabitch, the Capra Demon. The final image is going to be printed on a totally sweet playmat for Magic.

Congrats. He really isn't very tough, all things considered, but the layout of his room and the suddenness of his initial attack is pretty surprising for the uninitiated. Once that's out of the way though, yeah, he's pretty brainless.

Took me... 3 or 4 tries to beat the Gaping Dragon... I just wasn't fast enough on some parts lol.
I summoned Solaire the second time... all I thought throughout the fight before he died was "JOLLY COOPERATION."

Good man, solaire died when I summoned him, but I survived long enough to avenge him

Lol I died during the fight when I summoned Solaire... then beat the Dragon the next time.
He also died fighting Ornstein and Smough... lost that fight too.
Though strangely enough I eventually was able to kill them both by myself.

Kill Ornstein first, and hopefully you have the Crystal Halberd.

Yeah I tried that... didn't work out so well. Ornstein grows to Smough's size and is twice as strong but still fast.
Though I only killed Smough first because the Giant Blacksmith was killed by accident by those creepy flying things.... I was originally going to craft the Dragonslayer Spear but with the Blacksmith in Anor Londo dead I cannot... ;_;
Summon Solaire of Astora, after killing the Royal Sentinels and Silver Knight archer, and you should be fine.
Kindle the Bonfire too.

I didn't even know you could call NPCs or other players until the chaos witch, so I never actually used Solaire.
I actually think the Gaping dragon was really easy.

Oh man, that sucker made me ragequit Dark Souls for 2 days before I worked up the nerve to go at it again xD
In that he was probably even worse than Ornstein & Smough.
Although he was still nothing compared to Demon's Souls' Flamelurker ...

nice, seems like this was exactly what your fights looked like anyways. only reason i remember this guy is because of the double weapon and the stair case.

Great work on this one. I like how the Chosen Undead (if that is indeed the PC's name) is looking off to the side, possibly at the dogs assuredly running straight at him.

I like to imagine that the player actually had to go get the phone or something, what with the no pausing.
I was actually tempted to toss the dogs in there, but decided against it. Thought maybe it would get a little too cluttered.
I did make damn sure to get those stairs in there though.

my god. defeating him as a pure sorcy was scary lol. no room to move with those little demon dog bastards hounding you.
this was a great game, love it XD

The fight's basically decided in the first 30 seconds. If you can make it to those stairs, you've basically won!

The dogs threw themselves at you to stop you from the stairs. I remember rolling directly into one and getting one shotted by the capra. My sorcerer was very squishy...

Yeah, I remember it basically being random whether or not you made it past the dogs. Eventually I got through though.
Actually, I feel like alot of those situations were just doing the same thing until it randomly worked lol.

Lol. The only time I cheated was against that giant fire demon thing. Ceaseless Discharge I think? Couldn't figure out how to kill it until I happened to see it online
