Ground patrol on the surface at an orbital Imperial Shipyard planet is vitally important to the Empires continued success in this region. Rebel forces would love nothing more than to strike a blow to the operations in orbit, where an array of new warships are under constant construction. Massive Shield Generators on the surface ensure the work going on high above remains safe from enemy incursions. However this makes the Shield Generators themselves a very tempting target indeed.

Private Reeves and I on an extended patrol checking that sensors along the vast perimeter are in working order. Carrying the temporary supplies and rations needed for the multi day mission is exhausting to say the least, so we take a brief rest atop a nearby overlook to survey the base below. In the distance an Imperial Walker is running battle drills preparing for the day where it may be needed to defend the massive installation from possible attack. As I remove my helmet I take a deep breath of the fresh air, a needed respite from the long hike.
