ANOTHER EDIT: Multiple people have told me that Owlflight has "Finchwing ears." First of all, caracal ears and tufted ears are different. Owlflight's ears are like lynx ears, except the tuft size is more dramatic. Secondly, I added eartufts to Owlflight in late 2014, which is before Finchwing became a caracal.EDIT: I fixed a spelling mistake //screeches

I spent over about 12 hours on this??? My last deviation took me about 5 minutes the heck. I hate lining so much, it took me 7 hours omg
I did the sketch back in 2016 and I'm not proud of it. I plan to redo this when I have more time haha
I changed Owlflight's colors to be more neutral greys! I also tweaked some of her markings and added a light blue patch on her neck. I don't mind if you use her old colors or designs from over here: I prefer if you use the updated version though!
Owlflight is not my fursona or a Warriors OC (despite her Warriors like name). She's my main OC for now, but I don't mind if you treat her like a sona!

If this was was just an average design to me, I would let it slide. However, Owlflight is one of my oldest and beloved OCs. People saying she looks like another popular artist's design is offending. It's like if you made a design you were proud of and someone says it's like their own OC or if you drew a commission for someone and someone else than the commissioner says that the character looks like their own OC.

When did I say she looked like another 'popular' artists design? I made a joke about the ears, Jmy, one that wasn't meant to offend or deteriorate the character. Also, why does popularity even matter?
And, I mean, I apologised, and said I didn't mean to offend you. This still holds true, and I won't do it again, okay?
Plus, I'm not the only one here who has... commented, on another persons treasured design and not realised how hard it hit them.

Finchwing is considered a popular artist. A lot of fans will attack others that have similar art to more well-known artists. This can range from character/art stealing or just small differences like eartufts. I've seen fans attack other artists for just designing a character that's a caracal. I know fans want to protect artists' rights, but it can go to the extreme. I've seen this happen a lot that I'm now paranoid about it.
I know that it was a joke, but it wasn't humorous. I accept your apology but please don't make any similar comments like this to me again.
