Description
A move that I thought about for my Beat Em Up'.
Was done on a program called Aseprite.Β
I want to see if I can give my game a pixel-ated look (which is another thing I need to work on).
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So I've been dead for some time now... well dead in Deviantart that is!
I've still been working on my own stuff for awhile, along with the busy life of school. I just felt like none of it was worth posting (or I'm keeping some stuff as a surprise )
But anyway, I might as well post something just to feel alive.
I still want to make that Beat Em Up I mentioned in my previous post. And because I wanted it to look great, I started to spread my animation wings and learn the ways of motion!
This was done for practice, and I think I've got a lot to learn. It might take awhile but it will be worth it!
The Beat Em Up genre needs a new hero to step up into the mantle, and I'll be one of the few to answer the call!
If I'm gonna do this thing, it's gonna be done right >:0
I'm still looking for that one mechanic that will help innovate the genre.Β
On a side note, I've been recruited to help design concepts and animate for a game project at my school as well, which has been another thing that's been needing a lot of my time, but i'll talk about that some other day

That looks great man! I love the weight on that jump slam. That leg slumping at the end is a funny touch.

Thanks!Β
Yeah, I figured that the legs would naturally lean forward due to the physics involved when someone is layed down on the floor, but i forgot to consider the fact that he's inside a hole at this point, so maybe they wouldn't slant so much.
Animation sure is a whole new mathΒ ^_^;Β
