I really wanted to do it entirely myself, but I also wanted to save the art director time (since this work is paid by the hour) - I used a font called Wizard Speak.

I totally understand that... maybe one compromise would be to create your own custom font(s) in your spare time. I believe there are free programs to do that. That way you could take however much time you like / need to create awesome magical fonts and still do the jobs quickly!
You still managed to do an amazing job, though, so I don't think it's necessary to improve on anything here... though I get the wish to do so.

I've actually tried downloading such programs, but I've never gotten around to figuring them out - last time I tried, I got bogged down in OCD hell and rage-quit shortly thereafter X3 But yes, it's an excellent idea, which is why I've always intended to do so :b
