your welcome i have a trailer where i had a friend chipmunk he was my best friend he died this summer because of old age i think other then that i loved that chipmunk he use to lick my face when i was sad and follow me everywhere its fine now tho ill never for get him

Oh, what a lovely and a sad end of course! It is amazing that this chipmunk was licking your face and was following you! Mines are wild but jump up to my shoulders and come to pick peanuts between my lips. My first chipmunk - the mother of all these ones - died also probably of old age. They say that they live only seven years, I miss my little Sam so much too! I am so sorry for your loss

my chipmunk was a wild one i none him four six years at frist sight of him i was scared butt then everyone at my trailers like your so good with any animal how do you did it but i lost my best friend the one who understood me and i understood him when he was dieing we need he was getting slower and was going to die and it doesnt matter where i was he clime up my back and sit there waiting for a peanut. i guess my chipmunk was turning seven this summer so i guess he had most of his years with happyness right im gald to talk to people that understand what happen my sister says he would never leave my side.

That sure is a big seed for that bird to swallow.

The bird will fly to a tree and break the husk against a branch and get the small seed into it.
