My proof copy of Rain - Volume 3 came in today. My phone camera makes everything look grainier than it actually is, but I promise that everything is super clear and crisp and beautiful. It's overall probably the best looking book thus far.
This is also the biggest volume yet, with a whopping 264 pages spanning from Chapter 15 through Chapter 22. In addition, it features a 23-page exclusive bonus chapter, Chapter C: True Family. This touches on the childhoods and/or family lives of each of the main kids (but with special emphasis on Ky), so expect to see laughs and feels as usual. See also new and improved character bios, original art (a little bit seen online, a little bit never before seen), and also some lovely fanart.
This should become available within the next day or so, for $13.59 (same price as Volume 2). I will announce it as soon as it goes live. ^_^
And thank you so much for your patience! I know I planned to have this out for the holidays last year, but as I probably don't need to explain again, life happened and foiled all my plans. But it's FINALLY just about here. Just in time for me to probably have to start thinking about Volume 4. XD

They are not in color. Β Color printing is unfortunately absurdly expensive (like, over $40), andΒ I don't imagine most people realistically being willing to pay. Β It simply isn't worth it.

aww, that's kinda sad. Also weird, personally I know a lot of comic-artists and they can print in color fine. Like only 10β¬ per comic, maybe it's a country related thing, who knows?

Technically, the pride flag only has six stripes (indigo is left out for some reason?), so the original plan was six volumes. Β Lately, it's looking exceedingly likely I may need a seventh volume to cover everything I want to though, so I will probably be using indigo. Β I also have further contingency colors in mind just in case I need to stretch things even further, but I'm hoping it doesn't come to that. Β XD

That's most likely because indigo isn't ACTUALLY a colour of the rainbow! When the guy worked out the 'true' colours (which are red, orange, yellow, green, blue and violet) of light (which are the ones that make up a rainbow) he thought that since a rainbow must be made by God, it had to have 7 colours (Because 7 is a holy number) and only included indigo because of this.
Note: Those 6 colours are the primary colours (Those which can be mixed to make any other colour) and the secondary colours (those which are made by mixing exactly 2 primary colours in equal ratios). Indigo is a tertiary colour (all colours which are not primary or secondary) so it's quite clear that it shouldn't be there. It doesn't even make sense that it is
Of course, for the purposes of a flag, it could be included but as the intention is to be a rainbow, it's not scientifically accurate (although of course still permissible, after all, who am I to say how much scientific accuracy is required in a flag?)

I've seen some of the pride rainbow flags with pink and turquoise in them, just in case you need more contingency colors!

Oh, I just looked up the Pride flag, and it showed one with Indigo in it. My bad. And I'm trying not to selfishly hope that you work on Rain until the day you die (Which is hopefully several decades from now). I'll deal with it when Rain does finally end. I've been trying to advertise it as much as I can so that you can get more support.
