Another piece I did just to be a smartass.
Here we have heroic Springobots Bumblebart, Margarita-1, Cosmag, Homus Prime and LC ready to defend Earth and its precious Donugon resources from Montatron, Soundsmith and the rest of their Shelbacon horde.

Actually, for a time I considered doing a companion Decepticon piece, only it would have had Burns as Megatron (Montatron) and Smithers as Soundwave (Soundsmith). Of course, the joke to that would have been Montatron being so thin and weak in robot mode that he constantly has to have Soundsmith hold his fusion cannon up for him...

They actually had a Transformers reference during the "couch" gag in the opening credits once: they all drove to the couch in vehicle form and transformed into Transformer-type robot versions of themselves - IIRC Homer was an Optimus-type red big rig
