Seriously speaking, his omission is partly due to me forgetting that he exists and partly because I ran out of alternate series versions of these characters who I wanted to draw. Poor Cliff.

He is dead for 99% of the show, and is present in the story primarily in the form of memories and Arcee angst. Also, yeah, he was killed in the first five minutes of the whole series. Don't pin all the blame on the fans.
