Description
This page deviates from the original script I had primarily because I wanted to get Aquamarine a little more involved and have her truly immersed in a field of her expertise. Previously, she pulls a big lever, but I got to thinking how silly it would be to have all this computational knowledge and be reduced to pulling big levers.Oddly enough, that wacky blue-yellow scheme was very popular and common among industrial and mainframe computers of the era (the other color schemes being yellow and brown, yellow and white, and black and white).
Lemme know what y'all think! What's your favorite panel, least favorite panel, favorite dialogue, and least favorite dialogue? How does this page stack up against other pages?

Yay! Aquamarine needed more exposure. I like the way you are having her hair tied behind now as well.
Favorite panel is the last because it shows so much in just the one panel, great depth.
Least favorite is number 1. It is too similar to number two (which looks pretty good) but the running pose does not look quite right.
Can't say anything negative about the dialogue. All of it sounds good but nothing stands out more than the rest in this one.

I see what you mean about the composition in panels 1 and 2, since they show Aquamarine from a similar angle and distance each time. I probably could have fit more into panel 1, but this is sort of what happens when you choose to deviate from a script and just try to 'wing it'. At the time, I didn't know exactly what was going to happen in each panel (though I had a rough idea).
Dude, when are you gonna post more Zodiac? I've been aching to see more of your comic work!

I'm very glad to hear you say that. I want to get back to cranking more of that out but it requires me to get a fair bit of time at home and I haven't had that lately. It's getting so that my most productive times are my breaks at work. Unfortunately I can't bring my 11X17 bristol board to work.

Fav panel: last. Cute and sexy, multiple focus points, natural movement across the panel
Fav line: first panel second bubble. Good, brief plot progression, suggests action and suspense, while setting character context.
Overall very nice page, always glad to see more aquamarine, though big levers are kinda fun too.

Thanks for your compliments! From what I've seen of retro computer systems, they had a dazzling array of gizmos at the time, many of them completely obsolete by now, many of them filing cabinet sized boxes that now fit on a chip smaller than a dime. There are so many wierd computers, in fact, that it's been pretty hard for me to conceptualize a 1960s-70s supercomputer based on these different systems working in tandem.
Luckily, I have a rough idea of what types of systems were out there. Almost universally, the most popular computers were for database functions, storing lots and lots of bits and bytes on magnetic spools, reels, and discs. A good chunk of computers were also simply glorified printers. That in mind, the comic will have scenes with some of these mundane systems, as well as bizarre sci-fi interpretations of 'supercomputers'.

I just like the fact that you decided to give Aqua a bigger spotlight here. She needs more screentime ^_^
I also might add... the way you color her fur almost makes her look like an arctic fox. Hmmmmm.... *rubs chin in thought*
