Description Here's something strange. I don't like stretchy characters. Really, I'm not a fan. But, I came up with the idea for Taffy a couple of years ago, and she fascinates me. The costume is designed as it is, to allow her to stretch, without stretching out of her clothes. The black bands bond to her skin, so they anchor portions of her costume into place. Plus, she, like, fourteen.
She's a lot more, but we'll have to wait, for that.

Nice design, and I know you're not a big fan of elastic types, but it's nice to see you dabble a little bit into them every now and then.

I stared working on her origin story, today. It's just going to be two pages long, but it's coming together just about as I saw it in my head.Β

Looking forward to it. My patience will be paid off when it’s done.

Interesting background on how her suit functions, and nice design as well.Β

You gotta love that name, creating a stretching character is quite a challenge, well done.

I have a couple of other stretchy types. Captain Elastic, meant to be a little silly sounding, Elastico, another dude and Serpentine, the first female I did of the type.Β

To me this is a difficult concept to work for with. The stretching power is an interesting challenge. I will try to come up with something original.

It's an inherently silly superpower, and I always thought of myself as a somewhat serious creator. Then I had the occasion to draw Bouncing Boy, a character I considered mostly a joke. And he was fun to draw. I finally got it. I can only do humor accidentally, but I got it. I'm thinking of doing a three or four page origin story for Taffy and it will be a bit different than the usual origin for a stretchy type character.

GREAT character! Β I'm not usually a fan of those stretchy characters either but this really works well! Β I would love to have her in Aspyre!

Usually, female elastic types are played "sexy" to "sexually explicit", I wanted a more innocent take on it. A lot of times, I start with a name, that inspires a concept, and the character kinda talks to me, as I'm working. I found the same, when I was doing Ad Astra. The characters usually wrote themselves.

She's a great character. Β If you're ever interested in selling her, please let me know. Β
