Description
This is one of two pieces I did for a show titled "True Heroes". It's an art auction being put on for charity with all the proceeds going to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. The theme revolved around doing popular heroes, so I wanted to pick heroes that were popular, but at the same time wouldn't be over done like Batman or Superman.This was done in photoshop taking about 10 hrs. total off and on.

And yeah, the anime⦠saw it last year in Hong Kong. Had to tell my kids the original is way better. You'd think my daughter, who just finished kindergarten, would have preferred the PowerPuff Girls being her age. I guess it's the version you see first that wins your heart⦠plus my daughter knows Cantonese, so unlike me, she didn't have to guess what was going on. Still, the original had an episode with a Big Lebowski reference. No magical girl anime can beat that.

I have to be honest, I never really liked powerpuff girls, mainly because I didn't like the art style, but if they made an actual anime, that could be interesting. Very nice drawing by the way.

This is awesome, I love Mojo with his characteristic cracked brain dome/hat after being defeated and Blossom looking sweet while Buttercup looks like she can go for another fight. It's awesome

The Blossoms, the Bubbles and Buttercups OH MY!
This is very well done. I grew up on this show.
I really love this style. I can actually visualise this as a comic book series. If this style were to be used as a cartoon, I would be a very happy nerd.

I think you should do more Powerpuff Girls when you feel like it and have the time. This is a beautiful style. You capture their personalities really well and that is the best Mojo Jojo I have seen so far.
They ever make a new series, they better hire you with an excellent salary.
