Description
Wow, I seem to be doing a lot of these now. Anyway, here is my version of the Konoha Forehead Protector.Who wants dimensions!?! I know you all do.
Ok, the base shape is 9"x3". The little pin things are Ø 3/8" (3/8" diameter for you non-engineering types) and 1/8" tall. Three circles are used to make the leaf pattern: A Ø 1" and Ø 3/4" circle concentric about the middle, and another circle tangent to the other two, combining them. The 'stem' of the leaf is at a 30° angle to the horizontal, with the leaf's 'blade' on the opposite side. The two lines that form the 'blade' are tangent to the outermost circle. The leaf design is 1/5" thick and 1/8" deep.
*whew*
If anybody wants me to post the dimensions, just ask. Enjoy!
The program used to create this was SolidWorks 2008.

I'm stuck in the leaf design and I do not know how to make the stem of the leaf at a 30° angle to the horizontal !!
if you don't mind, show me with picturs how to do it! and thank you

If you create a horizontal construction line, you can use that to dimension the stem at 30°. I don't actually have this program on my computer anymore, so I'm afraid I can't send you any pictures.
Hope that helps, though!

We have one at our school, but I've never used it. I think I would have to pay to do so.

I should look into how much that would cost me. If I did get a 3d printout, I could probably then make a mold for it and bring it to Free-Pour-Fridays (free aluminum pours, hosted by the metallurgy department)

Awesome! Then mass produce them....just like my evil plan!!
Or just wear them all over the place, I'd do both!!

Thanks, glad you like it. I'm thinking about doing one for each village, and then putting in an optional 'slice' through it, like the Akatsuki do.

It should be pretty easy. I actually just have one file called 'headband'. All I have to do is suppress and unsuppress (make the feature disappear and reappear) the different symbols or the cut. So once I have all of the symbols, I can make the cut appear on any of them.
