Description
Once again, I was bored while at the robotics competition. So I made another weapon.
This is probably one of my favorite weapons to use. The sai is a weapon that is balanced and can be easily maneuvered in the user's hand. This weapon is balanced between offense and defense, but is normally used as a defensive tool. The user can switch between holding this overhand and underhand easily depending on the situation. While being used underhanded (the prongs pointing away from the body), a sai is used for catching oncoming weapons and, by giving a swift twist, disarming the opponent. As one might guess, the underhanded position is also used for stabbing. While being used overhanded (the prongs pointing down the forearm), the knuckle end of the sai can be used to focus a jab to a single point, increasing the damage. The longest prong can also be used as a shield by blocking attacks directed at the user's forearm. This sai weighs 5.15 lbs, and the center of mass is located near the joint of the prongs and the handle, making it very easy to flip around as needed.

Just as an extra tidbit, this is the weapon that Xena from The Worrior Woman, Anaxonomne and Evee from The Mummy Returns, and Raphael from TMNT uses. Raphael is the one with the red headband.
