Because this was a swannery, they were used to people going past all the time. Its amazing really how relaxed they are, the ones on the canal quite often have people going past them, but they'll attack you, trust me, I know from experience. But thanks If you're ever in Dorset about May time you should go. When you get to Weymouth there should be signs, because of them hatching.
