I'm sure it was something similar, but not this. Haha!

Okay, this is so awesome that I might cry. The animation is AMAZING and the model is wonderful. This is just INCREDIBLE, the sense of weight, spreading of the toes with each step, the muscle jiggle, tail swing, you can even see her slack jaw shudder a little with each step. You really brought her to life.

Better attention to movement than even the old dinosaur documentaries use. Good work.

Awesome. And unlike a lot of people, that's not a word I use often. All the details (muscle jiggle etc) make the movement very convincing.
I just wonder whether you'd have to do it all again for a different gait, a fight scene, etc or whether it's all driven by model of the physics of the critter and would track the variation in movement automatically.

Thank you! I think I understand.
The muscle system is dynamic and automatic and is based on movement of the animation. The muscles are effected by the movement of the joints or impacts, etc. This is different than real muscles that control the movement of the skeleton. The muscle system is a bunch of objects that are the approximate size and shape of real muscles and are attached at both ends to specific places on the skeleton (insert and origin in real anatomy terms) The muscles stretch and squash and jiggle, and influence the outer skin. There are controls or attributes that can be adjusted to tell each muscle exactly how much it can stretch, squash and how much and how long the jiggle will last.
There is actually a lot more to it...But that's it in a nutshell.
So, an animator can create whatever performance that she or he wishes the T.rex to preform. The muscles will do there job and move around - but they would need to be adjusted on a shot by shot basis. For example very fast intense movement could cause the muscles to move too much, so they would need to be adjusted accordingly.

This is pretty slick. I honestly wish I had some proper feedback for you other than to me it something looks off with the jiggle a bit. Like it's too jiggly, but just slight. But let's be honest.. when I look at most animations online I don't see jiggle put in to such detail anyway so it's nice to see you push yourself forward. But yeah I really don't feel qualified to critique this because I lack a lot of the fundamental understanding of motion dynamics in organic figures. I'm just here going "omg! I can't wait to sit and learn this too!"

I will post one soon. It's interesting how much more visible all the movement is with textures

Oh wow this looks absolutely great. I love how the leg muscles move, they really seem to contract and release, and the weight and "jiggle" of it hahaha! I love what you've done with the skin on the neck as well. this is amazing, well done!!
